DC Man Dies From E-Bike Collision

In a heartbreaking incident, a man has lost his life as a result of an E-bike accident in Washington, D.C., according to police investigations.

The unfortunate incident occurred last month when a man and a woman were separately riding E-bikes from D.C. bike share, heading westbound along the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest, on Wednesday, March 27, just before 11 p.m.

Tragedy struck when the man began to slow down near the intersection of 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, leading to a collision between the woman’s E-bike and his own, as reported by the police.

The collision caused the man to fall to the ground, resulting in a severe head injury. He was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention due to the gravity of his injuries.

Michael Goldstone, a 43-year-old resident of Northwest D.C., tragically succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, authorities confirmed.

This sobering incident highlights the importance of road safety and vigilance, urging everyone to exercise caution and awareness while commuting, especially in shared spaces like bike lanes and intersections.
